Luyanda Mndzebele is a young lady from Eswatini who is currently pursuing her IB diploma at Waterford Kamhlaba. She hopes to major in Environmental Science and Economics at University in the United States. Luyanda is passionate about the environment and she is a climate activist and she is part of the inaugural cohort of Rise Winners Scholarship for people aged 15 -17.

Luyanda also known as “ Smiley ” serves as the chairperson of the Eswatini UNICEF Youth Board where she works alongside a diverse group of students to foster youth inclusion .She writes for a blog called 90Nine. She is thrilled to be part of BLVD because of the wonderful network it will offer for her as a young person seeking to make the world a better place.
